Touch your belly with the same love and care as you would a newborns. Stop grabbing ‘your fat’, start appreciating it. Tickle your arms, stroke your cheeks and run your fingers through your hair. Look at yourself from head to toe - this is all you! Every inch of what you see is part of your glorious self. Appologize to your body like you mean it. It’s not your body’s fault that the world can be cruel, that things didn’t turn out the way you wanted to, that he doesn’t love you. It’s not your body’s fault, don’t punish it for everything it didn’t do. Love it for all the things it does instead. It’s kept you alive and breathing. It’s been fighting even though you haven’t given it nearly enough food for a long time.
